How to Raise Your Vibration - 7 Powerful Ways to Feel Lighter, Happier and Attract  More of What You Want into Your Life!

Hello Everyone, 

I hope this post finds you well and feeling positive about the new year ahead. If you joined me for the 2023 practice of “Set Your Intentions with Me”, I’m sure you are motivated to start the new year with clarity and anticipation for what lies ahead. Today, I felt called to continue on the theme of moving forward with intention. This presented me with thoughts about our vibration; the energy we project out into the world, and how important it is for bringing our intentions to fruition. So, join me here for some thoughts and ideas on raising your vibration to feel lighter, happier and attract more of what you desire for the year ahead.

Einstein’s work suggested that everything on the planet is energy, and all things therefore have a vibration. High vibrational energy is pure, feels good and has positivity attached to it. In contrast, low vibrational energy is much darker; it is dense, feels heavy, and is often associated with negative emotions such as fear, anger and jealousy.

We all have an inner vibration, and we are all surrounded by an invisible field of energy that vibrates at a specific frequency. When we feel balanced in mind, body and spirit our vibration is clear; we feel good, life is flowing, there is a lightness to our beings, and we feel connected to ourselves and the world around us. If we feel unbalanced in some way due to high stress levels, illness or general difficulties weighing us down, our vibration can lose its clarity. We may begin to feel like nothing is going well for us, and we may feel disconnected from others and life in general. This loss of clarity in our vibration can disrupt our ability to align with what we desire in life. The Law of Attraction states: like attracts like. So, when our thoughts and emotions are vibrating at a lower frequency (maybe stuck in patterns of anger, envy or grief), as like attracts like, this energy is what we will receive in return. In order to feel lighter, break patterns of negativity and attract what we truly desire, shifting the emotional state to a higher vibration, creates balance and harmony again. So, how do we raise our vibration? Here are some simple ways to realign, create harmony and attract what we really want. 

  • Love It Up - Love is the highest vibrational state. We all know that when we feel love for someone or something, our energy soars and a comforting warmth flows to the core of our being. This expansive state; the lightness and happiness it creates inside us, is the power of high vibration. So learn to love yourself and those around you. Share love as often as you can.

  • Make Beauty A Priority - Start your day with a goal to prioritize beauty in small ways. This is so simple, but can really enhance your daily life, and raise your vibration with very little thought or effort. Here’s how: start your day by taking just a few minutes to notice the beauty around you. Take in the sunrise and choose a beautiful mug for your morning coffee. Place beautiful items in your workspace, such as crystals, art work, images, beautiful books etc… Notice the beauty in nature, take a minute to watch the clouds as they become illuminated by the rosy sunset, or walk outside and view in awe as the moon rises. The silvery Luna presence ascending in the inky sky before your eyes, can be a high vibe moment in your day.

  • Set Up Your Soundtrack - Our auditory experiences throughout the day can significantly increase or decrease our vibration. Listening to uplifting sound; whether that’s music that you just can’t help moving to its elevating beat, or calming nature sounds, such as the birds singing outside your window, will impact your vibration. If you love the soundtrack you set up for yourself throughout your day, you can guarantee it will raise your vibration.   • Get It On Paper - Journalling, the art of getting your thoughts out of your head and down onto paper, whether that’s in the form of words or pictures, is such a wonderful practice for maintaining a light and bright vibrational energy. Once your thoughts are down on paper, your mind is clearer, more spacious and any repeating thought patterns are nicely organized. The practice of Morning Pages, created by writer Julia Cameron in her book The Artist’s Way, is especially useful for a consistent journalling practices.   • Gratitude, Gratitude, Gratitude - This really is one of the quickest and easiest ways to amplify your high vibe game! You can choose to write down what you are grateful for, or you can just stop everything at moments throughout your day and challenge yourself to think of three things you are grateful for in that moment. Chances are you think of many more than three! Making gratitude a habit, and a daily practice in any form is a sure way to maintain a high vibration. Being thankful sends a powerful message to the Universe that you are blessed, and as like attracts like, the Universe will in turn send more blessings your way. It is the Law of Attraction in action!

  • Go To Your Breath - Breathwork, meditation or yoga are excellent practices to calm the nervous system, improve your mood and in turn, raise your vibration. Spiritual practices such as these trigger the brain to release the neurotransmitters dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin and endorphins, which create feelings of peace, comfort and happiness. Devoting just 5 minutes a day to a practice like this will shift lower vibrational energy to a higher level, and maintain it for you.   • Eat High Vibe - The foods we eat contain prana, or life force energy. So eating a diet that contains highly nutritious, prana rich foods and liquids, such as organic fruits and vegetables, filtered water and fresh juices, allows the body to absorb the high vibration from these foods. A nutrient dense, high vibration diet creates lightness in the mind and body, and a certain vibrancy that cannot be created by eating lower vibration foods such highly processed foods or large quantities of meat. Try incorporating more high vibration foods and liquids into your diet and notice how you feel. Most people find that a high vibration diet has so many benefits, including lighter, brighter moods and a general feeling of vibrancy.

These simple practices or habits will certainly raise your vibration; I encourage you to try some or all of them for a few weeks. Observe how you feel, and how your life is flowing during these weeks. It is very easy to determine your vibrational frequency, as with all things, the more focus you place upon it, the easier it will be. So, as you move ahead with this year and the intentions and goals you have set for yourself, all you have to do is ask yourself how you feel. If you feel good and your mood is feel elevated, then your frequency is high. The lower your mood, the lower your frequency. It’s as simple as that! When the energy of your being vibrates at a high frequency, you will begin to notice that more opportunities and situations that feel good to you will start to materialize in your life. You will sense that life is truly flowing with ease. Vibrating at a lower frequency often attracts less feel good opportunities and situations, ones that perhaps feel negative to you. The Law of Attraction is active at all times and your emotions are the key to your ability to attract positive situations and outcomes. The word emotion means energy in motion, after all! So feeling light, bright and at ease with all you want to create for the year ahead is totally within your control. It starts with raising your vibration and maintaining that high frequency throughout your day. My hope is that these simple ideas and practices assist you on this journey. High vibes in 2023!
