About Jill

Hello Women,

I am Jill and I am a mother, Iyengar Yoga teacher, postpartum doula and women’s holistic health expert. I am so glad you are here.

I am passionate about supporting women throughout all stages of life: to walk with women on their unique journey, to hold space and to see them as they truly are. The offerings I provide are a culmination of my own experience in mothering, working in health related professions, and the wealth of teachings I have received from wise women and experts in the fields of yoga, meditation, energy work and spiritual and holistic health, over many years.

I am a life long learner. I am in love with yoga and all things spiritual. I am creative and love to paint with watercolours. I love drinking chai on a snowy day and my Nordic heart craves cozy days and candlelit evenings. Bookshops make me happy and being in nature soothes my soul. My greatest joy in life is my family and being a mother is my adventure of a lifetime.

I am here to nurture your path to wellness and I am honoured to do this work.

Namaste, blessings and much love.

Jill’s yoga journey.

Jill began studying yoga 25 years ago in her home country of England. The practice was perfect to balance the busyness of life in community social work. After moving to Calgary, Jill discovered the Iyengar tradition of yoga and began studying with senior teachers from across Canada and the world. The practice had so many benefits for her chronic back injury, the transitions of young motherhood and her active life as a homeschooling mother. Maintaining a steady practice for three years, Jill was accepted into the Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training program of Calgary and studied with Senior Iyengar teacher Margot Kitchen. Studying with other senior teachers: Marlene Mawhinney, Marlene Miller, Devi Desai, Jawahar Bangara, Eyal Shifroni, Lois Steinberg and Abhijata Iyengar, Jill holds a Level 1 certification and is honoured to share this path of health, wellness and spirituality with her students.
